Product Manager / Technical Product Manager

Taranis Space develops innovative satellite infrastructure for polar regions — the Arctic and Antarctica. The company combines satellite communication, Earth observation, and real-time data transmission, providing reliable services for sectors such as aviation, shipping, energy, scientific research, administration, and defense. Using Molniya orbits, Taranis ensures stable coverage where traditional infrastructure is limited or unavailable.

• Experience in managing or developing technology products.
• Ability to create product roadmaps and set priorities.
• Understanding of technical issues in new technologies, space-tech, telecom, satcom, IoT, AI, data infrastructure, or autonomous systems.
• Ability to work at the intersection of technology, business, and project financing.
• Experience in preparing functional requirements, market analyses, or product assumptions.
• Good organization, independence, and high communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience in a technology startup or deep-tech company.
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum.
• Experience in R&D projects or projects co-financed by the EU.
• Knowledge of the space sector, satellite communication, Earth Observation, critical infrastructure, energy, maritime, aviation, or solutions for hard-to-reach regions.
• Ability to combine technical understanding of the product with a business approach to its development.

• Lead the development of Taranis Network's technology products.
• Define product roadmap, priorities, and development stages.
• Translate market, customer, and partner needs into product requirements.
• Collaborate with the technical team on concepts, assumptions, and specifications.
• Coordinate communication between engineering, business, grant teams, and partners.
• Prepare market analyses, product assumptions, and functional requirements.
• Support R&D projects and projects funded by the EU.
• Monitor work progress, risks, milestones, and project dependencies.
