Senior Data Engineer

As part of the Data & AI area at Allegro, the team implements projects based on practical data science and artificial intelligence applications at an unprecedented scale in Poland. The Data & AI group consists of over 150 experienced engineers organized into multiple specialized teams working on BigData processes, ML models, search engine implementation, recommendations, buyer profiling, experimental platforms, and research involving machine learning.

• Programming experience in Scala or Java, Python
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data storage, and processing frameworks like dbt, Spark, or Apache Beam
• Knowledge of GCP (especially Dataflow and Composer) or other public cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with good practices: clean code, code review, TDD, CI/CD
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux systems
• English language skills at B2 level
