IT Solution Architect

Comarch is engaged in designing and verifying system architecture for market leaders in the insurance sector, focusing on enterprise-class systems and complex ecosystems for international clients in the insurance industry.

• Minimum 8 years of IT experience, especially in designing, implementing, or maintaining enterprise-class systems in the financial industry
• Experience in technical roles such as Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, Technical Consultant, or Technical Lead
• Knowledge of regulated sectors: experience working for financial, insurance, or banking industries
• Architectural competencies: excellent knowledge of architectures supporting large financial organizations and practical knowledge of integrations and data flows
• Understanding of SDLC: practical knowledge of the full software lifecycle from concept to deployment and maintenance
• Communication and presentation skills: ability to translate complex technical issues into language understandable for management and business stakeholders
• Fluent communication in English (spoken and written)
• Analytical thinking: independence in identifying technical risks and responsibility for proposed solutions

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of insurance processes (policy administration, claims handling, or loss adjustment)
• Experience in digital transformation projects from legacy systems to modern architectures
• Participation in tender processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ) on the supplier or consulting company side

• Designing architecture: creating comprehensive IT solution concepts including component diagrams, integration descriptions, and data flows from central systems to modern user portals
• Technical consulting and workshops: conducting discovery meetings and consultations with architects, IT teams, and security teams on the client side
• Supporting sales processes: preparing substantive responses in tender procedures (RFI/RFP), developing high-level estimates, and building technical arguments
• Collaborating with R&D and product teams: providing market feedback to product teams and actively participating in planning the development of Comarch solutions in the insurance sector
• Feasibility study: analyzing requirements regarding security, performance, costs, and identifying technical risks
• Innovation and AI: identifying practical AI applications in insurance solution architecture and monitoring global technology trends
