Senior Mainframe Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mainframe Specialist to join our team in a critical role aimed at supporting a significant project that involves migrating from Broadcom/CA technologies to alternative solutions.

• Knowledge & experience working with IBM zOS.
• Understanding of Endevor configuration.
• Experience in cross-platform communications.
• Knowledge of mainframe and midrange scripting languages.
• Familiarity with mainframe Unix System Service.

Nice to have:

• Experience with CA tools such as Easytrieve, Telon, JCL Check, CA Spool, and TPX.
• Understanding of mainframe SDLC, CICD, and VSCode.
• Knowledge of midrange tools and their integration with mainframe systems.
• Familiarity with mainframe infrastructure including transaction managers, databases, queue systems, CICS, and IMS.

• Analyze the current use of mainframe software within the organization.
• Define, assess, and design alternatives to replace existing solutions.
• Plan and execute migrations to the new target systems.
• Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless transitions.
• Support the rollout of new solutions and changes.

This position is based in Poland, offering a remote work arrangement. The target allocation for this role is 100%, with an expected duration of 12-24 months. The start date is set for June 1, 2026, or upon finding a suitable candidate.
