As part of Airbus’s ambition to grow a proficient and competitive Engineering organisation, Airbus is launching a Commercial Aircraft Engineering Centre in Poland focused on Propulsion systems. The role is within Airbus Poland Engineering center, leading the stress analysis & integration engineer team responsible for analysis of Nacelle and Pylon Airframe products and stress compliance integration.


Wymagania

Education & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in stress analysis of aircraft structures, with significant experience
  • In-depth knowledge of metallic and composite material behavior and associated stress analysis
  • Familiarity with airworthiness regulations (EASA, FAA) and certification processes
  • Strong understanding of aircraft design, manufacturing processes, and structural testing
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and international team environment
  • Fluency in English is required

Technical Competencies:

  • Knowledge of tools such as Nastran, Hypermesh, ISAMI, Abaqus would be a significant advantage

  • Leadership and good communication and listening skills
  • Curiosity, and problem solving oriented mindset
  • Autonomy and team spirit
  • Stakeholders management skills

Obowiązki

Define Team strategy and objectives:

  • Align team goals with Airbus Poland Engineering center strategy, Propulsion Engineering center needs and Customer expectations
  • Foster collaboration with all stakeholders, and clarify roles and responsibilities

Support & Engage People:

  • Guide and support the team members in their daily job, by providing technical advice, coaching and mentoring
  • Promote well-being, Airbus Values, empowerment, and collaboration while aligning objectives with personal development
  • Foster a motivating, inclusive environment where transparency, feedback, and lessons learned are valued

Develop Team Capabilities:

  • Manage resources, competences, Processes, methods and tools
  • Define upskilling plan and trainings for the team, with the support of Propulsion Engineering Center
  • Drive recruitment, resource adaptation, and knowledge management

Ensure Delivery:

  • Ensure Team deliveries on Time, Cost, Quality and Performance

Specific roles within the team include:

  • Contributing to Airbus proprietary products, such as air inlet or Pylon stress deliverables
  • Specifying, guiding, and validating supplier Nacelle components stress compliance
  • Integrate and generate interface loads and displacements computing engine, nacelle and Pylon stress integrated model
