Wymagania

  • Experience with HTTP, TLS, load balancing, reverse proxying, CDN.
  • Proven experience with Go.
  • Experience in DevOps or production engineering roles on high-traffic, customer-facing distributed systems.
  • Experience shipping scalable server-side solutions in continuous integration environments.
  • Proactive team member improving processes and procedures.
  • Experience planning deployment of complex changes and long-term design decisions.
  • Preferred: experience in modern SaaS companies.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Preferred: hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
  • Preferred: knowledge of caching and CDN solutions (Cloudflare, CloudFront, Fastly).
  • Preferred: experience with cloud-based observability tools for metrics and traces.

Obowiązki

  • Build and manage the proxy tier servicing billions of HTTP requests per day.
  • Manage the global CDN platform delivering assets efficiently to clients' browsers.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers.
  • Ship code to production to improve user experience.
  • Review peers' code, changes, and deployment plans.
  • Use technologies such as AWS, Cloudflare, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Go.
  • Apply DevOps best practices: build and run the systems.
