Lead Software Engineer (.NET)

The client for this project is one of the Big Four accounting firms, headquartered in London, operating in 150+ countries with over 460,000 professionals delivering audit, tax, consulting, and advisory services.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering
• 7+ years of development experience
• Competency in .NET and ASP.NET Core
• Proficiency in MongoDB and/or Azure SQL
• Experience with Azure Cloud and various SaaS offerings (Service Bus, Blob, Redis, etc.)
• Knowledge of bug-tracking systems
• Pragmatic approach balancing process and flexibility
• Strong organizational skills including self-management, work structuring, priority setting, and meeting deadlines

Nice to have:

• Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and scalable system implementation

• Providing requirements analysis, system design, .NET development, database development, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and technical support
• Performing code review to ensure best practices are followed
• Working both independently and collaboratively within the team
• Communicating clear instructions to team members and managing day-to-day operations
• Regular communication with the client
• Providing technical leadership, mentoring, coaching, and leading by example
