Cloud Engineer (GCP)

Devire IT Outsourcing is a cooperation model dedicated to IT specialists, based on running one’s own business under a B2B arrangement, delivering projects for leading clients who carry out innovative and modern initiatives. For our client, european public institution we are looking for someone who will join their team as a Cloud Engineer.

• Technical knowledge of Google Cloud technology services: Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Web, Mobile, Containers, Databases, Analytics, AI & Machine learning
• Experience in building a range of Cloud services including compute, storage, network
• Excellent scripting skills and programming experience in PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Go, Bash, Windows command prompt and object orientated programming languages
• Demonstrable experience of Linux administration and scripting (preferably Red Hat)
• Basic knowledge in administering Microsoft systems
• Deep knowledge of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-a-Service concepts and techniques
• Knowledge of Cloud security and compliance (e.g., Cloud compliance/auditing/monitoring tools)
• Experience in collaborating with multiple support groups
• Experience with ticketing systems and ITIL based change management, configuration management and release management processes
• Level of Security Clearance required (at least): RESTREINT UE / EU RESTRICTED

• Administering and monitoring of enterprise Cloud environments (including subscriptions, identities, resource management, automation of processes and tasks)
• Monitoring and reporting on resource utilization and consumption related to the Cloud
• Preparing, updating and maintaining reports and workflows
• Preparing, updating and maintaining policies, guidelines and SOPs
• Provisioning and de-provisioning of development environments and DevOps projects
• Providing 2nd line support to Frontex application development teams in regards of Cloud Services and coordinating with 3rd line of support
• Participation in coordination and project meetings
• Other specific duties as assigned by supervisor
