Senior DevOps Engineer

Over 200 Jit personnel work on more than 60 projects for this Norwegian financial services provider with a global presence. • Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Ansible.
• Experience with relational databases including Oracle and DB2.
• Basic knowledge of Spring, Hibernate, XML, JSON, and Kafka.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills using Splunk, Apica, and Sysdig.
• Experience with modern observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Experience with AI/ML operations (MLOps) and AI agent deployments.
• Knowledge of AI model serving platforms and ML workload containerization.
• Understanding of AI agent orchestration and workflow automation.
• Ability to evaluate and implement innovative DevOps tools and emerging technologies.

Nice to have:

• Software development experience in Java/J2EE.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of IBM DataStage.

• Lead incident response and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes, identify systemic issues, and implement preventive and corrective measures to reduce recurrence.
• Monitor, analyze, and continuously optimize service performance, availability, and stability across critical production systems.
• Design, build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for multiple APIs and services, ensuring reliable, secure, and automated deployments.
• Maintain and support Pre-Production and Production environments, ensuring configuration consistency, reliability, and compliance with best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Platform Operations teams, development teams, and delivery factories to ensure smooth releases, efficient operations, and shared ownership of system reliability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive runbooks, operational procedures, and a knowledge base to enable efficient support and faster resolution of incidents.
• Evaluate, introduce, and implement new DevOps tools, practices, and AI-powered solutions to improve automation, observability, and operational efficiency.
