Data Engineer (Snowflake)

• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in data engineering in production environments
• Experience working with Snowflake, data modeling, and creating data pipelines, preferably in finance and controlling
• Very good knowledge of Snowflake SQL and solid understanding of Snowflake architecture including Virtual Warehouses, Cloud Services, and Storage
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data models following proven patterns (e.g., star schema)
• Experience with Flask / FastAPI
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and CI/CD
• Knowledge of data quality practices and testing

• Design, build, and optimize data models and data pipelines in Snowflake
• Create and maintain large data models including historical data for financial KPIs
• Classify and harmonize historical financial SAP data based on provided mapping logic
• Design, build, and maintain APIs for data sharing across various applications
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to define data requirements, schemas, and access patterns
• Implement data quality principles, monitoring, alerts, and remediation processes
• Maintain data lineage, metadata, and documentation
• Ensure production readiness through automated testing, CI/CD, and system observability
