Security Application Engineer

The role focuses on deploying, configuring, integrating, and validating enterprise security application platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, PAM, and endpoint management solutions to support city infrastructure and related assets.

• Proven experience with security software platforms including SIEM, SOAR and PAM solutions; experience with CyberArk is desirable.
• Experience with endpoint management platforms such as CrowdStrike or equivalent endpoint protection platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to deploy, configure and validate security applications across distributed assets and infrastructure.
• Practical experience with API-level integration and platform administration in an enterprise environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to produce clear technical documentation.
• Relevant technical qualification or equivalent practical experience in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science or a related discipline.

• Deploy, configure and validate security application platforms across organisational assets and city infrastructure.
• Integrate security applications with the broader security architecture, including SOC feeds and monitoring pipelines.
• Administer enterprise security platforms, ensuring availability, stability and secure configuration baselines.
• Implement API-level integrations between security applications and other services to automate workflows and data exchange.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of platform capabilities with operational and incident response requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and configuration records for deployed platforms and integrations.
