DevOps Engineer

They have been supporting clients in banking, finance, and insurance industries for over 25 years, delivering complex software solutions including product design, development, testing, and technology consulting. The company focuses on banking, fintech, and insurtech sectors.

• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes, especially EKS.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and experience with Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD and code repositories, specifically GitLab.
• Understanding and application of GitOps practices (e.g., FluxCD).
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS; Azure or GCP is a plus.
• Participation in cloud migration projects (lift-and-shift) and infrastructure standardization.
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level) in spoken and written form.

• Design, build, and develop a modern cloud-native payment platform on Amazon Web Services with multi-region architecture and high availability.
• Create and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Manage and develop Kubernetes/Amazon EKS environments including autoscaling, monitoring, hardening, and performance and reliability optimization.
• Build and develop CI/CD pipelines and GitOps processes using GitLab and FluxCD.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy, maintain, and scale applications running in Kubernetes environments.
• Design solutions ensuring security, compliance, and data processing requirements across jurisdictions.
• Maintain and develop monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Support platform architecture, high availability, failover, disaster recovery, and self-healing.
• Participate in migration and modernization of existing systems to new AWS architecture.
• Handle production incidents, problem analysis, and on-call duties for business-critical systems.
• Co-create infrastructure standards, security, and best practices for DevOps and platform engineering.
