Wymagania
- Minimum 5 years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years in a similar database role
- Higher education - at least Bachelor degree - MUST HAVE
- Very good English - at least B2
- Strong experience administering complex MS SQL environments in distributed infrastructures
- Expert knowledge of database tuning, optimization, and capacity planning
- Experience in MS SQL scripting, data transformations, ETL tools, and cloud-based data services
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence on‑premises tools and services and Microsoft Fabric tools and services
- Hands-on experience administering virtual infrastructure
Nice to have:
- Experience working in restricted / secured environments
- Experience with Active Directory tiering model
- Knowledge of DBPlus Performance Monitor
- Experience in creating and managing Always On Availability Groups
- Understanding of recovery models (Full, Simple, Bulk-Logged) and disaster recovery methodologies
- Proven ability to diagnose performance issues using SQL Profiler, Execution Plans, and Dynamic Management Views (DMVs)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Fabric Data Engineer Associate
Obowiązki
- Administration and monitoring of MS SQL-based database services in distributed environment
- Providing 2nd line support for database management and operations
- Troubleshooting, deploying, and maintaining databases
- Database monitoring, tuning, optimization, and capacity planning
- Implementing changes in accordance with ICT change management procedures
- Extracting, transforming, and loading data (ETL processes)
- Updating technical documentation and operating procedures
