System Analyst (Architect Track)

The role involves supporting the Solution Architect in designing solutions for the Privileged Access Management (PAM) system, combining business requirements analysis with architecture design, and collaborating with Product Managers, development teams, and the Solution Architect to define scope and implementation of new product features.

• 2+ years of experience in system analysis or architecture design in an enterprise software environment.
• Experience gathering requirements from business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to create technical documentation (HLD, architectural diagrams, functional specifications).
• Experience with multi-layered architectures (frontend + backend API + database).
• Understanding of application architectures: monoliths, microservices, modular monoliths, including trade-offs.
• Understanding of REST API design: endpoints, versioning, resource modeling.
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar): schema, relations, migrations.
• Familiarity with architecture diagramming tools (C4 model, UML, sequence diagrams, draw.io, Mermaid, PlantUML).
• Ability to break down complex requirements into smaller, implementable parts.
• Ability to compare solution variants with arguments for and against.
• Ability to present technical solutions to non-technical persons.
• Fluent Polish (documentation, business meetings) and English B2+ (technical documentation, protocol specifications, RFC).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Privileged Access Management concepts (session recording, password rotation, password vault).
• Knowledge of compliance standards: SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIS2, ISO 27001.
• Awareness of security standards: Zero Trust, least privilege, just-in-time access.
• Experience with IAM/PAM products (even as a user).
• Understanding of clustered and high availability systems (HA, replication, failover).
• Basic knowledge of network protocols: TCP/IP, TLS/SSL, SSH - understanding communication layers.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms: LDAP/Active Directory, OIDC/OAuth2, MFA.
• Knowledge of remote access protocols: SSH, RDP, VNC - understanding their functions and limitations.
• Basics of applied cryptography: encryption at-rest, in-transit, key management.
• Experience with appliance-based systems (device as a product, not SaaS).

• Analyze requirements from Product Owners by asking precise technical and business questions and identifying gaps and inconsistencies.
• Prepare solution proposals by analyzing variants, recommending optimal approaches, and presenting solutions to stakeholders.
• Create High-Level Design (HLD) documents for new functionalities, including architecture, components, data flows, and integrations.
• Analyze the impact of changes on existing system architecture by mapping requirements to system components and identifying dependencies between modules.
• Collaborate with development teams (C, Rust, Angular) to refine solutions and convey architectural context.
• Participate in architectural reviews and design reviews to ensure solution consistency with the current product state.
• Document architectural decisions (ADR) maintaining a clear history of what, why, and alternatives considered.
• Prepare project documentation including technical and functional descriptions, confirm with business, and hand over to the implementation team.
