Data Quality Analyst

For one of our key clients – a global leader in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector – we are seeking a motivated and analytical professional for the position of Data Quality Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to join a purpose-driven organization and play a vital role in a large-scale digital transformation project that redefines global data standards.

• A Bachelor’s degree in IT (or equivalent experience) and a proven track record in Master Data Management and Data Analysis.
• Strong practical knowledge of SAP ECC and MS SQL.
• The ability to perform detailed analysis to identify trends and opportunities for data improvement.
• Proficiency in English (written and oral) and the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-national teams.
• A good understanding of Data Models and an awareness of Machine Learning (ML) solutions.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the FMCG industry.
• Familiarity with Python, Data Lake, Databricks, or SAP Information Steward/Data Services.

Standardization & Governance:

• Liaising with Data Champions and Governance Leads to translate business standards into technical DQ rules, including testing, training, and rollout.

Process Implementation:

• Actively influence and support global tools and frameworks to ensure high-quality master data for the Digital Core project.

Data Cleansing Leadership:

• Driving projects for large-scale data cleansing and executing test cases to validate mass cleansing routines.

Technical Collaboration:

• Providing development specifications to DQ DevOps teams and managing delivery through AGILE processes (JIRA).

Root Cause Analysis:

• Supporting project leads in identifying and resolving root causes related to Master Data issues.

Asset Management:

• Documenting and maintaining Data Quality related assets and knowledge in the internal project Wiki.
