Principal Architect

Meniga builds financial intelligence for the world's leading banks with over 100 million users in 30+ countries. The company operates platforms that make banking data meaningful and personal, with offices in London, Reykjavik, and Warsaw.

• Experience owning architecture of distributed, data-heavy platforms in production
• Experience with system transformation without stopping business operations
• Deep expertise in .NET, C#, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, both on-premises and cloud
• Ability to read and critique existing codebases
• Strong written communication skills for technical decision documentation
• Credibility with engineers and customers, including bank architects
• Active reasoning about AI integration in architecture
• Knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes, Helm Charts

• Own the architecture of the entire Meniga platform including services, data, integrations, deployment model, and boundaries between them
• Report directly to the CTO and set the architectural direction
• Make hard architectural decisions and be accountable for the architecture's scalability
• Draft the target architecture and defend it to engineering teams and customers
• Stay close to implementation to course-correct early
• Drive platform transformation including migration from on-prem to cloud, MSSQL to PostgreSQL, and legacy to new platform
• Write decisions down clearly in RFCs, ADRs, and technical strategy documents
• Embed AI as a first-class design concern across services, data pipelines, and the software development lifecycle
