Security Engineer

Be in IT is a recruitment company specializing in searching for specialists in the information technology sector. Currently, for their client, they are looking for a person for the position of Senior Google Workspace Engineer.

• Several years of experience in cybersecurity, especially with EDR/XDR and SIEM solutions (maintenance and/or implementations).
• Practical knowledge of endpoint protection technologies and antivirus tools from leading vendors.
• Experience with SIEM systems, including creating correlation rules, playbooks, and automation mechanisms.
• Knowledge of network security and firewall solutions (experience with leading vendors is a plus).
• Ability to create technical documentation, security policies, and procedures.
• Experience in incident response and analysis.
• Well-developed communication and presentation skills; ability to work with clients.
• Proactive approach, engagement, and orientation towards development.
• English language proficiency sufficient for communication and working with technical documentation.

Nice to have:

• Certifications in security technologies (EDR/XDR, SIEM/SOAR, Mail Security, Proxy).
• Knowledge of cloud solutions (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
• Experience with firewall technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco).

• Collaborate on cybersecurity projects for business clients.
• Design and implement IT infrastructure security.
• Configure and optimize SIEM, EDR/XDR, NG Antivirus.
• Conduct presales activities: technology presentations, participation in implementations.
• Provide technical support for vendor solutions (Crowdstrike, SentinelOne, Palo Alto, Zscaler, and others).
• Prepare technical concepts; implement security systems and cloud services.
• Conduct training for clients and teams.
• Test and evaluate new technologies; provide implementation recommendations.
• Perform analyses and research in cybersecurity; develop policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Handle security incidents: analysis and post-mortem actions.
• Develop Security and Cloud competencies; utilize automation and AI solutions.
