Senior Business Analyst

The role is part of a Digital Health R&D department within a global, research-driven organization operating in the healthcare and life sciences domain. The project is a newly initiated AI-related initiative aimed at building data-driven capabilities and supporting advanced analytics use cases. The team operates in an international, agile setup, collaborating across business, data, and engineering functions.

• Fluent English (spoken and written) - mandatory
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT/data-related projects
• Experience in clinical trials or pharma-related data projects
• Experience delivering data-focused initiatives, ideally within healthcare or life sciences
• Strong experience in requirements engineering and business analysis methodologies
• Practical experience working in Agile environments (user stories, backlog management, Jira)
• Experience working with complex, integrated systems
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., GxP or similar)
• Experience in virtual collaboration within distributed teams
• Experience working with external vendors or third-party suppliers
• Proficiency with tools such as MS Office and Jira

• Experience in AI / GenAI-related projects
• Certification in Business Analysis or related discipline

• Delivering expert-level business analysis for data and AI-driven projects
• Identifying, analyzing, and defining business needs aligned with strategic objectives
• Collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize technology solutions and define high-impact initiatives
• Leading requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation (functional and technical)
• Translating business requirements into design specifications (processes, UI, functional design)
• Managing requirements lifecycle, including traceability, risks, dependencies, and validation
• Supporting business case development, including ROI and value realization
• Evaluating solution proposals and ensuring alignment with business goals and value optimization
• Working closely with architecture, platform, and engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility
• Contributing to stakeholder management, communication plans, and change initiatives
• Supporting Agile delivery processes, including working with user stories and tools such as Jira
