IT Manager (m/f/x)

Windar is an international leader in the renewable energy sector, specializing in the production of offshore and onshore wind turbine towers. As part of our global expansion, Windar is launching 2 new production facilities in Legnica and Szczecin, Poland supporting the rapid growth of Europe’s renewable energy infrastructure. This Greenfield investments represents a strategic milestone for the company, offering a unique opportunity to build a state-of-the-art manufacturing site from the ground up.

• Experience in the role of IT Manager / IT Coordinator / Senior IT Specialist
• Experience in a production or industrial environment
• Knowledge of computer networks, IT infrastructure and the basics of virtualisation (VMware / Hyper-V)
• Very good knowledge of Windows systems and popular office applications
• Practical knowledge of LAN/WLAN operation, including VLAN configuration and network devices
• General knowledge of OT/IT infrastructure used in industrial plants
• Ability to work independently and organise one’s work effectively
• Willingness to commute between Szczecin and Legnica
• Very good command of English, enabling fluent communication in an international environment

• Managing IT operations at 2 production sites (Szczecin and Legnica)
• Overseeing network infrastructure, servers and virtual environments
• Ensuring the continuity of IT infrastructure operations and providing user support
• Managing IT incidents, documentation and hardware inventory
• On-site support during inspections and maintenance of equipment, networks and communication systems
• Collaboration with the central IT department and external service providers
• Support for IT/OT issues in an industrial environment
• Participation in the construction and development of IT infrastructure in a greenfield environment
