Senior Data Scientist

GBS and its three Centers of Excellence act as the Group Digital Transformation engine for Finance, Procurement, and Master data. Our Operational teams provide global services for Finance, Procurement, Master data, HR, and IT with the ambition to further move up the value chain and expand its service portfolio.

• 4+ years of experience in data science or related roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields.
• Fluent in English.
• Confident working with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong communication and problem-structuring abilities.
• Strong programming skills in Python; SQL is a plus.
• Experience with machine learning, statistical modelling, and cloud platforms.

Specific tasks

• Lead end to end development of advanced analytics and machine learning solutions — from scoping to deployment.
• Act as the main analytical partner for business stakeholders located in Denmark and abroad.
• Translate business needs into analytical opportunities and shape high-value projects.
• Provide actionable insights, identify trends, and measure performance.
• Ensure solutions are scalable and aligned with enterprise architecture.
• Mentor junior data scientists and foster knowledge-sharing.
• Drive best practices in modelling, documentation, explainability, and operationalization.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies.
