Product Manager - Apptio Platform

IBM Apptio delivers category-leading TBM SaaS solutions for ITFM, FinOps, and Strategic Portfolio Management. The Apptio Platform Product Management team works across global stakeholders including customers, partners, engineering, sales, product marketing, and support, providing composable services anchoring the entire Apptio product portfolio.

• 4+ years of Product Management experience managing foundational platforms delivering Enterprise SaaS in a B2B environment.
• Expertise in Enterprise Architecture frameworks implementing business functions like lead to order, quote to cash, and issue to resolution.
• Exposure to implementation and integration of PRM/CRM and ERP systems supporting configuration/quote, order management, provisioning, invoicing and billing, and master data management.
• Strong technical acumen with demonstrable experience in Cloud-based architectures and exposure to cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, IBM.
• Knowledge of subscription metering and billing for Enterprise SaaS and on-prem products using subscription billing platforms like SAP BRIM, Zoura, Oracle EBS.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable communication.
• Familiarity with Cloud Billing and Cost Optimization.

• Own and drive a strategic vision and roadmap for Apptio’s platform, translating it into clear tactical roadmap items that provide outcomes such as platform data ingress/egress strategy, provisioning capabilities, metering, access management, and integration with billing, PRM, and other back office systems.
• Work across teams including Engineering, Sales, Support, and Marketing to gather feedback, refine strategy, and provide guidance to ensure feature adoption and success.
• Provide detailed product requirements to help the Platform Engineering team build platform services leveraged by other Apptio products.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) to support internal teams in understanding how to leverage and integrate platform services into their products.
