Remote Data Manager (Tax project)

We are looking for a Data Operations Manager for a high-volume, business-critical data environment. This role sits at the centre of a high-volume, high-stakes data operation, ensuring data quality, readiness, and governance across compliance delivery.

• Strong data operations and data quality management experience
• Proven leadership of technical/data teams
• Experience with process standardisation and governance frameworks
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with compliance or regulated data environments
• Understanding of AI/automation in data workflows

• Own data quality, consistency, and governance across clients and territories
• Lead and develop a team of Data Analysts (work allocation, coaching, quality review)
• Ensure data readiness at all delivery checkpoints before processing
• Define and enforce standardised data processes (intake, validation, transformation, reconciliation)
• Manage data exceptions, perform root-cause analysis, and escalate risks early
• Maintain data controls, audit trails, and data lineage for full transparency
• Oversee AI/automation outputs, applying judgment where needed
• Coordinate onboarding of new clients and reporting cycle transitions
• Partner with cross-functional teams to proactively manage risks and dependencies
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and operational insights
