Robotics Engineer

x-kom is a group operating on the market for over 20 years, continuously developing and caring for both customers and employees.

• Practical experience working with ROS2 and Python.
• Ability to design and implement robotic systems, including working with robot manufacturer SDKs (e.g., Unitree, UBTech) and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of ROS2 and Python to design, implement, and develop robotic systems, including nodes, communication, and robot logic.
• Basic knowledge of Computer Vision (e.g., OpenCV, YOLO) and ability to build functioning perception pipelines.
• Comfortable working in Linux, using CLI and Git in team environments, including branching and code review.
• Clear communication of technical information and effective teamwork.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with humanoid or quad robots, especially Unitree.
• Experience with Docker and containerization of ROS2 environments.
• Basic knowledge of ML/RL.
• Familiarity with tools such as Gazebo, Isaac Gym, or MuJoCo.
• Experience integrating STT/TTS or simple NLP pipelines.
• Knowledge of REST API or WebSockets.
• Basic C++ skills.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, EtherCAT, RS485.
• Experience with cloud technologies and kinematics.

• Work directly with physical robots: testing, launching, and debugging systems on hardware.
• Design and implement ROS2 nodes, topics, services, and action servers.
• Integrate software with hardware components such as sensors (IMU, LiDAR, depth cameras), joints, and telemetry.
• Build and develop production-ready Python modules.
• Implement simple perception and computer vision pipelines.
• Debug issues that go beyond simulation.
• Collaborate with the team on code review and development of shared repositories.
