Senior C++ Cloud Storage Engineer

We are working for one of the biggest electronics manufacturers in the world, focusing on delivering new firmware for their devices. This firmware works in biggest datacenters around the world. You also have 70% chance that you already use devices powered by firmware we help develop.

• Proficiency in C++.
• Experience with Amazon S3 Glacier.
• Knowledge of Google Storage API.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Good communication skills.

• Design, implement, and validate core features for our object storage service that abstracts a novel hardware backend.
• Work at the intersection of storage hardware innovation and distributed systems software, building a high-performance, durable, and cost-effective storage solution.
• Own the development of critical storage subsystems including data placement optimization, garbage collection, and lifecycle management.

Work authorization or ability to appear in office in Katowice or Warszawa once a week is required.
