Cloud Security Consultant (Cybersecurity)

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Security Consultant to help assess, enhance, and automate cloud security capabilities in a complex enterprise environment. This role combines strong cloud security expertise with hands-on Python web development, focusing on building tools that support security posture management, governance, and risk visibility.

• Hands-on experience securing assets in at least one major cloud provider environment.
• Minimum 3+ years of cyber security experience in large-scale estates, preferably cloud-hosted.
• Knowledge of security governance frameworks, including IT security controls and configuration baselines.
• Experience assessing vulnerability severity using industry standards such as CVSS.
• 5+ years of experience delivering well-structured web applications using frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Experience building unit, integration, and feature tests, and contributing to automated test coverage strategies.
• Strong background developing data-driven web applications using sources such as Power BI, SQL databases, ServiceNow, cloud platforms, or APIs.
• Expertise in secrets management and secure configuration using tools such as HashiCorp Vault.
• High adaptability in dynamic environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex topics clearly and create high-quality documentation.
• A proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership, and professional integrity.

Nice to have:

• Industry-recognised certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or Cloud Security certifications.
• Experience with Wiz CNAPP.
• Knowledge of Power BI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Container technologies (Docker).
• Experience with additional programming languages beyond Python.

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of solutions using Python web frameworks such as Flask and Django.
• Propose and implement improvements to enhance performance, usability, and overall value of existing platforms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver shared objectives and reduce duplication of effort.
• Contribute to cloud security assessments, security scoring initiatives, control frameworks, and baseline governance.
• Work closely with cloud engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to promote best practices and mandatory security controls.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimisation, owning initiatives end-to-end.

Location: Poland (Hybrid – 6 days per month from the office in Kraków preferred or Warsaw)
