Senior Technology & Strategy Consultant

Exerizon is a fast-growing strategy and technology consulting firm founded by former senior leaders from global consulting and cloud organizations. We help leading companies deliver complex business and technology transformations, with a strong focus on financial services and other regulated industries.

We combine management consulting (corporate and digital strategy, operational excellence) with deep technology expertise (cloud strategy and migration, cloud security, application modernization, data & AI, Generative AI). Our projects span from board-level strategy to hands-on implementation.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has extensive experience with software delivery processes across different organizations, scales, and maturity levels.
• Has written commercial code and can engage with architects and developers on technical details.
• Thinks architecturally about all of IT including systems, integrations, data, domain boundaries, scalability, trade-offs, and operational cost.
• Understands organizational and operating model constraints beyond technology.
• Can communicate effectively with both CTOs and senior developers, adjusting depth and language appropriately.
• Is interested in AI, automation, and new trends but can distinguish real value from hype.
• Naturally calculates ROI and has an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Can create actionable plans from complex client situations that are accepted by both boards and teams.
• Takes ownership of outcomes, not just deliverables.
• Is a Polish native speaker and has business-professional English skills.

• Have learned from failures as an architect or leader.
• Have conducted audits, assessments, or architecture reviews for external clients.
• Have held responsibility for P&L, IT budget, or initiative portfolio prioritization.
• Prefer well-written documents over presentations for problem-solving.
• Want to build strategic influence without losing technical grounding.

What you'll deliver:

• IT operating model design — relationships between Business, Product, Architecture, Delivery, and Operations; team topologies; boundaries of responsibility; decision-making processes; interfaces between functions.
• Target Architecture Landscape (TAL) — leading TAL initiatives end-to-end: capability mapping, application analysis using the Gartner TIME model, complexity reduction, modernization roadmaps, and TCO optimization.
• Practical AI advisory — advising where AI makes business sense, integration into existing architecture, organizational and data preparation, and measuring return.
• IT investment ROI analysis and prioritization — modeling costs, outcomes, and risks of initiatives to justify decisions.
• Engineering organization effectiveness reviews — diagnosing delivery issues, metrics, observations, conclusions, and remediation plans.
• Client decision support for modernization and transformation — acting as a sparring partner for Engineering Management on decisions with financial and organizational consequences.

This role requires Polish native speaker proficiency and business-professional English skills.
