Platform Engineer

Devire Outsourcing IT is a form of cooperation dedicated to IT specialists based on self-employment (B2B), executing projects for leading clients running innovative and modern projects. The client is an international organization operating in multiple countries with a complex IT infrastructure supporting various businesses including maritime transport and logistics.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or similar role
• Experience with CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure tools
• Good knowledge of cloud, Infrastructure as Code, and modern software delivery practices
• Experience in scripting or developing platform and automation tools
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability
• Ability to handle incidents, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident improvements
• Knowledge of secure engineering practices and their integration into software delivery
• Experience in security areas such as vulnerability management and access control
• Ability to work on infrastructure performance, scalability, and cost optimization
• Experience with Git and teamwork
• Ability to collaborate across teams (dev, ops, infra, security)
• Strong analytical skills and continuous improvement mindset
• Willingness to learn new technologies and use AI tools
• Certifications are an additional advantage

• Co-create and develop DevSecOps practices, platform capabilities, and engineering processes
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure secure and efficient solution delivery
• Create and maintain automation to reduce manual work and increase process consistency
• Support performance, scalability, reliability, and security of services
• Participate in operational support, problem resolution, incident handling, and service improvements
• Identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities in tools, processes, and platform
• Develop infrastructure and platform focusing on maintenance, costs, and developer experience
• Support compliance with policies, architecture, and security standards
• Track trends in platforms, cloud, automation, and AI and apply them practically
