Senior Data Architect/Analytics Engineer | Remote

• Senior Data Architect or Senior Analytics Engineer with advanced expertise in data platforms like Databricks, BigQuery, linked PostgreSQL servers, and MongoDB.
• Business fluency to translate executive questions (MRR, churn cohorts, customer funnels) into trustworthy, fast, self-serve data products.
• Experience designing at least one semantic layer from scratch in production, able to explain design choices and trade-offs.
• Query-optimization perfectionist, able to decide when to rewrite SQL versus reshape data models, with a focus on performance.
• Treats data accuracy as foundational, building reconciliation against source systems, schema contracts, referential-integrity tests, cardinality assertions, and daily drift checks from day one.

Nice to have:

• Experience shipping LLM-based AI agents for non-technical users, including text-to-SQL and semantic-layer-backed Q&A, with knowledge of tool-calling frameworks and guardrails against hallucinated metrics.
