Senior Java Developer with AI

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with experience using AI agents in their daily work for a project in the field of molecular diagnostics. The product is an advanced, high-throughput diagnostic system designed for the detection of infectious diseases.

• Minimum 5 years of hands on experience as a Software Engineer/Java Developer
• Java 17
• Spring V6
• Hibernate
• SQLite
• Gradle
• Swing
• Docker
• Liquibase

• Design, development, and maintenance of backend applications in Java
• Creating solutions for high-performance systems with high data throughput
• Software integration with external devices and systems
• Analysis and optimization of system performance
• Development and maintenance of automated tests
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams (including hardware, QA, bioinformatics)
• Using AI-powered tools to increase work efficiency and code quality

This project involves developing software for physical machines that are only available in the office. This is a hybrid role, you may need to come into the office twice a month, or perhaps twice a week. The number of days spent in the office is determined by the team based on needs.
