ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S S.A.) was established in January 2021 following the integration of ERGO Digital IT and Atena into one entity. As part of ERGO Technology & Services Management AG, the technology holding of ERGO Group AG, it supports millions of internal and external customers with IT solutions. In October 2022, ET&S S.A. expanded its operations by creating a Business Services unit offering skills in reporting, analysis, actuarial, and input management. The company implements AI, IoT, Voice Recognition, Big Data science, advanced mobile solutions, and business-related services.

• Fluency in English
• Good knowledge of AEM, specifically AEM as a Cloud Service architecture, including its deployment model and development best practices
• Strong experience with AEM core building blocks: Java, JCR, OSGi, and Sling
• Proficiency in frontend technologies and frameworks such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, React, and Angular
• Experience in guiding and mentoring other software engineers
• Knowledge of data formats (e.g. JSON, XML) and effective use of query languages
• Experience in creating and extending AEM components and templates using the AEM Templating Language
• Experience in developing cloud-native solutions
• Familiarity with configuring AEM user and permission management, including setting up users, groups, and access control
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Azure DevOps, Git, and Maven (or similar tools) for agile collaboration and DevOps
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail
• Growth mindset with a focus on continuous learning and skill development
• Ability to collaborate as a team player and communicate effectively with both business and IT stakeholders

• Designing, building, testing, and maintaining efficient, reusable and reliable code leveraging established specifications and standards
• Collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to ensure solutions align with the organization’s goals and customer needs
• Customizing and integrating commercial off-the-shelf software products
• Creating required technical documentation to support product needs including documentation for operations, security, and compliance
• Supporting and conducting application service requests and carrying out software maintenance tasks
• Supporting the deployment of software releases to the production environment
• Supporting resolution of problems and incidents in applications and services (3rd level)
