Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure Security

Google's software engineers develop next-generation technologies impacting billions of users. The role involves creating novel security solutions for customers with sophisticated security and locality requirements, ensuring security for Alphabet, partners, and global users. Google Cloud provides enterprise-grade solutions to help organizations digitally transform and solve critical business problems worldwide.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• Experience in applications security, cryptography, network security, systems security, or malware analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

• Work closely with Security teams inside Google and with partner and customer teams.
• Develop operating system and hardware security features for the product.
• Design security solutions within the broader area.
• Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices including style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
