Technology Strategy Consultant (ITFM FinOps) - ICH Europe

The Technology Strategy and Advisory Team helps organizations reinvent and build business value through resilient technology architectures and cost-efficient cloud and data solutions, working globally with large organizations.

• 2-5 years of experience in IT Finance, TBM, FinOps, or related areas
• Understanding of IT cost structures, budgeting, forecasting, and IT finance processes
• Experience in consulting, transformation projects, or cross-functional environments
• Ability to connect business, finance, and technology perspectives
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
• Analytical thinking and ability to structure complex problems
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (storytelling and structured analysis)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Technology Business Management (TBM) or FinOps frameworks
• Exposure to tools such as Apptio or other IT cost management solutions
• Experience in designing cost allocation models
• Familiarity with cloud cost management concepts
• Relevant certifications (e.g., FinOps, TBM)

• Support IT Finance / TBM / FinOps transformations for large organizations
• Conduct assessments of IT cost transparency and IT financial management maturity, defining actionable improvement roadmaps
• Design and improve IT cost models, service costing, and allocation mechanisms (showback / chargeback)
• Help clients implement or optimize tools such as Apptio for better visibility and governance
• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders across IT and Finance to align on priorities, challenges, and solutions
• Translate complex financial and technology data into clear insights and recommendations for decision-makers
• Support development of governance, processes, and ways of working in IT Finance / FinOps areas
• Engage in a strategic, client-facing role focused on managing technology value

• Work location includes Warsaw headquarters with offices in Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź, and Gdańsk
• Hybrid work model with remote, office, and client site work
• Traveling to client locations mostly across Europe and beyond is required
