Software Engineer (Python)

• Strong expertise in Python with hands-on programming experience and real-world projects.
• Adherence to software engineering best practices including writing modern, bug-free code, proper documentation, unit-testing, and maintaining code quality.
• Interest in understanding business processes and providing fit-for-purpose solutions.

Nice to have:

• Experience with data modeling and processing using Pydantic and Pandas.
• Knowledge of data transformations using DBT and data warehouses like Snowflake.
• Experience with image processing and computer vision, e.g., OpenCV.
• Familiarity with containerized environments and CI platforms such as GitHub Actions.
• Experience working in regulated environments under pre-set regulatory rules.
• Front-end development skills using TypeScript, Node.js, and JavaScript.

• Develop computational pathology workflows by collecting and understanding user requirements.
• Establish workflow designs and efficient software solutions.
• Develop new tools or improve existing ones used in computational pathology workflows.
• Add new features, fix bugs, increase test coverage, and improve documentation.
• Ensure compliance of processes and developed tooling.
• Participate in HR screening and technical interviews as part of the hiring process.
