UI/UX Artist (f/m) (on-site only)

Play of Battle S.A. is developing an ambitious Grand Strategy / RTS game, focusing on creating intuitive, stylish, and functional interfaces that support complex systems while remaining accessible and elegant.

• Experience designing UI for strategy, simulation, or systems-heavy games.
• Strong skills in Photoshop, Figma, or similar tools for mockups and layouts.
• Good understanding of user experience principles, usability, and accessibility.
• Ability to work closely with artists, game designers, and engineers.
• A passion for making smart interfaces that empower players.
• A solid eye for typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• 2+ years of experience as a UI/UX Artist in game development.
• A portfolio showing strong UI design and UX thinking.
• Ability to work onsite in Warsaw (no relocation offered).

Nice to have:

• Experience implementing UI directly in Unity.
• Familiarity with military or modern warfare themes.
• Interest in grand strategy or RTS titles like Hearts of Iron, Wargame, Company of Heroes, or Total War.

• Design and iterate on UI layouts, menus, HUDs, and in-game interfaces for a strategy game with deep systems.
• Work closely with designers to ensure the UI supports gameplay clarity and good user flow.
• Collaborate with programmers to bring static UI designs to life inside Unity.
• Create style guides, iconography, wireframes, and interactive mockups.
• Help balance information density with visual clarity, making complex features approachable without dumbing them down.
