Java Developer with Cloud (k/m/*)

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong experience in Java and flexibility to dip into other languages when necessary.
• Proficiency in API development and management, experience with OpenAPI for documenting APIs.
• Understanding of database systems, both SQL and NoSQL.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data privacy regulations.
• Familiarity with Cloudflare WAF is a plus.
• Ability to translate algorithms into functional code for data analysis.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to experiment in creating various development and code metrics.
• A passion for open-source technologies and active participation in the open-source community is highly desired.

• Design and implement data models, schemas, and structures for organizing innersource & open-source project data on Git platforms to facilitate efficient data retrieval and analysis.
• Develop backend solutions that will serve as the foundation for our API-driven data consumption across a wide array of publications and applications.
• Create robust and user-friendly APIs to enable seamless access to data for various stakeholders, including compliance engineers, full-stack developers, and technical evangelists.
• Collaborate closely with ISPO/PSPO compliance engineers, full-stack developers, and technical evangelists to understand data requirements and ensure smooth integration with existing systems.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code principles to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of backend solutions.
• Leverage cloud technologies to build scalable, reliable, and secure data solutions, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
• Implement best practices in cybersecurity to safeguard sensitive data and maintain data privacy and compliance.
• Translate algorithms into functional code to enhance data analysis capabilities and improve data-driven decision-making processes.
• Play a key role in populating our annual "State of Innersource & Open Source" reports with accurate, up-to-date, and insightful data.
• Demonstrate excellent presentation skills to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
