Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join an international project delivered for a large organization within the financial services sector. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining a global payments platform that enables fast and secure fund transfers across multiple channels, including supplier payments, salaries, and tax transactions.

• Strong hands-on experience with React 18, TypeScript 5, Bootstrap 5
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience working with SQL and databases
• Java 8+ essential, Java 17+ preferable
• Familiarity with legacy frontend technologies (e.g. JSP)
• Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• English proficiency at B2+ level

Nice to Have:

• Experience in payments / financial systems

• Develop and maintain modern front-end applications using React, TypeScript, and Java
• Build UI services and micro frontends supporting payment processing systems
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and microservices
• Improve system usability through intuitive interfaces and user-focused design
• Contribute to reducing operational complexity by building interactive tools and dashboards
• Support automation initiatives, including test automation and CI/CD improvements
• Enhance system efficiency and Straight-Through-Processing (STP) capabilities
• Maintain and modernize legacy UI components (e.g. JSP-based solutions)
• Work closely with stakeholders and distributed teams across different regions
