Platform Engineer

Holisticon Connect is a division within NEXER GROUP, a custom software development company started in Poland in 2017 with over 140 people and offices in Wrocław, Warsaw, and Cracow. The company works with world-renowned brands from Scandinavia, the UK, and Western Europe. The Platform Engineer will be part of projects supporting Oncology DataScience Platforms including Data Acceleration (DataOps & Data Engineering), Pathology Imaging AI, and OMICs engineering.

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and platform services such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Experience handling self-managed and managed Kubernetes services (EKS, GKE)
• Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or shell scripts
• Linux administration experience
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure automation systems, preferably Terraform
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab
• Fluency in English (C1) for international work environment
• Located in Poland for at least 5 years

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with data engineering pipelines and automation
• Practical experience with complex IT processes and applications
• Good knowledge in IT networking
• Experience with monitoring tools and log management solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic, Splunk)
• Experience with case tracking systems (Jira, Zendesk)
• Self-learner with strong communication and organizational skills

• Contribute to definition and implementation of IT infrastructure deployment automation in AWS cloud environment
• Collaborate closely with product development team to address issues in software design, bottlenecks, or manual configuration steps
• Contribute to defining future system architectures to improve stability and operational efficiency
• Define and implement company-wide Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools
• Manage IT tools used for automation activities (CI/CD, configuration management, automation toolset)
• Manage orchestration infrastructure (Kubernetes)
• Educate and promote infrastructure automation practices within IT department

Candidate must be located in Poland for at least 5 years.
