Technical Team Leader

• 2 years leading a team of engineers to develop and deliver new services
• 10 years of professional experience as a software engineer
• 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data modeling, and Database design with hands-on development of all logical layers and non-functional aspects
• Advanced knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle databases architecture
• Experience working with technical management, product owners, and operations
• Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones
• Good experience with Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar
• Familiarity with iterative and agile methodologies
• Ability to improve code quality with effective testing and review processes
• Ability to design and develop scalable technical implementations
• Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Python programming
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React and micro-services architecture

• Act as a hands-on Technical Lead to drive architecture and design decisions for product development, including coding and unit testing
• Conduct code reviews and establish standards and practices for the team
• Work with distributed teams (infrastructure, network, etc.) and act as subject matter expert
• Provide technical leadership on best practices for chosen architecture and technology
• Identify issues and risks and proactively contribute to iterative discussions
• Foster and drive innovation, overseeing prioritization of new business concepts and ideas
• Communicate efficiently within and outside the team
• Manage time and organizational tasks effectively
