Motion Capture Stage Assistant

Bones is an animation studio specializing in motion capture and 3D character animation. They work on numerous AAA games and several film productions, and develop internal R&D projects focused on AI and robotics datasets for major technology companies.

• Basic knowledge of 3D
• Strong communication skills, including fluency in English
• Very good work organization
• Openness to testing new solutions and a creative approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to focus under time pressure

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of any scripting language (e.g. Python, HSL, JavaScript)
• Relevant education (Computer Science or film-related education)
• Experience working on movie/photo sets or in 3D / Gamedev companies

• Assisting motion capture specialists during sessions by charging batteries, assisting actors on stage, calibrating the stage, and cleaning up during the shoot
• Preparing the studio for the next day and closing it down in the evenings, with flexible working hours
• Taking care of motion capture suits
• Working with session directors to prepare equipment for shoots
• Reporting file or hardware issues to specialists during sessions
• Auditing internal Prop Management and maintaining information about props
