Product Owner represents the business within the squad, is first entry point for all demand and reflects the accepted demand on the backlog of the squad. He/she prioritizes this demand according to the highest business value (taking into account strategic priorities set at the epic and feature level).
We are currently seeking a Product Owner to join the Collateral and Securities Lending Product Development team, providing business Product Owner services for a newly formed squad within the Collateral Tribe in GBS. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the replacement of the current DBV service with a fully‑fledged triparty solution—a highly strategic initiative for Euroclear.
Wymagania
- Master’s degree with several years of experience in a similar role
- Business and/or technical knowledge in the Collateral Management domain
- Skilled in Agile methodology
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the capability to work independently, coordinate and prioritise tasks, and provide guidance prioritizing work within Agile teams
- Proficient in managing and persuading both internal and external stakeholders, with strong communication skills, including influencing and negotiating
- High level of autonomy and drive, with a collaborative team spirit
- Quick learner with sound judgement
- Strong oral and written communication skills, fluent in English
Obowiązki
- Acts as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT, representing business needs, priorities, and vision within the squad
- Captures, understands, and prioritizes demand in line with the defined business vision and strategy
- Manages and maintains a clear, transparent, and well‑understood Product Backlog
- Translates requirements into well‑structured user stories and effectively slices work
- Works closely with the Epic Owner and TPO to co‑own business objectives and maximize delivered value
- Aligns business and IT priorities with sponsors and ensures shared understanding of scope and solution evolution
- Plans, monitors, and manages demand from initiation to launch using agile practices (e.g. DoR, DoD, sprint and quarterly planning)
- Presents and refines demand with the squad, focusing on true client needs and optimal solutions
- Supports the squad throughout refinement and development activities
- Oversees delivery stages, ensuring risks (e.g. regulatory, compliance, security, architecture, procurement, finance, licensing) are identified and addressed
- Ensures delivered solutions meet expectations in terms of scope, quality, timing, cost, and business value
- Actively seeks feedback from the squad and drives continuous improvement, with support from senior colleagues when needed
