Software Engineer

Software Engineer will work for a global leader with a sharp focus on lottery solutions. • Proficiency in Java, J2EE, SpringBoot, JPA, Hibernate, RESTful services.
• Knowledge of relational databases (DB2/PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of software debugging tools.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented and Concurrent Programming.
• Familiarity with design patterns, code quality, and unit testing.
• Solid experience with version control systems (preferred GIT).

Nice to have:

• Experience in Docker/Kubernetes development.
• Familiarity and experience with production deployment and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of event streaming, CQRS, Kafka.

• 3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, JPA, RESTful, J2EE, PostgreSQL, DB2, Git, Hibernate.
• Languages: Polish, English.

Analysis & Documentation:

• Gather information from existing systems and perform detailed analysis of program and time requirements.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation to guide the development and coding processes.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all coded programs strictly adhere to established industry standards and technical specifications.

Technical Delivery:

• Conduct in-depth technical analysis and take ownership of component delivery within the project lifecycle.

Project Participation:

• Actively engage in all stages of project delivery, including:
  • Requirements analysis and system design reviews.
  • Implementation, daily stand-ups ("dailies"), and peer code reviews.
  • Integration testing and providing support during internal/external testing phases.

Production & Launch Support:

• Support production launches and provide critical maintenance for production systems to ensure stability.

On-call Assistance:

• Provide hotline (on-call) support when required to address business-critical issues and urgent demands.
