DevOps Engineer

The client is a fintech institution operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, focused on modernising its digital capabilities and expanding its offering for micro-SME customers. MUST HAVE:

• Commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar infrastructure role
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and infrastructure
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD — building and maintaining pipelines for multi-team environments
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes — deployment, configuration, troubleshooting
• Experience with automation beyond Terraform — Ansible, scripting (Bash, Python), or similar tools
• Experience designing infrastructure architecture — both logical and deployment architecture
• DevSecOps mindset — practical experience applying security practices within GCP and cloud-native workflows
• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker)
• Fluent English — ability to communicate freely in a professional setting
• Availability to work from the office 3 days per week in Warsaw or Tricity

Nice to have:

• Experience with messaging/streaming tools (e.g. Apache Kafka)
• Familiarity with application build/deployment processes (e.g. Java/Spring, Flutter/React)
• Experience with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience in fintech, banking, or similar domain
• Experience setting up infrastructure for greenfield projects
• Experience with GitOps workflows and deployment strategies (blue-green, canary)
• GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification or equivalent

• Support building and maintaining cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
• Work with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI/CD for multiple development teams
• Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform and scripting
• Monitor system performance and help troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and scalability
• Collaborate with developers and other engineers to support smooth delivery processes
• Follow security best practices in the cloud environment (DevSecOps approach)
• Contribute to documentation and ongoing improvement of the platform

Availability to work from the office 3 days per week in one of the following locations: Warsaw, Tricity (Gdańsk/Gdynia). This is a hard requirement. Fluent English communication skills required.
