Software Engineer III, Dataform, Google Cloud

Google Cloud delivers enterprise-grade solutions leveraging Google's technology to help organizations digitally transform their business and industry. The role involves working on the Dataform platform and open-source projects within Google Cloud.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with API Development, Distributed Systems, Large Scale Distributed Systems, and Scalability.
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages such as Kotlin, Java, Scala, Go, or C++.
• Experience with SQL, Kubernetes, or Docker.

• Own working across a wide range of technologies to deliver new APIs, services, infrastructure, features, and fixes to the Dataform platform and open-source projects.
• Work closely with Program Managers, UX, and Technical Leads to define product and technical requirements within the UI, API, and Open-source framework.
• Contribute to the development of the core product using technologies such as Kotlin, Golang, C++, Typescript, Spanner, Compute Infrastructure, Google Cloud Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine, Apps Framework, Angular.
• Design, implement, and launch new products, features, and components with high product excellence, technical quality, and velocity.
• Drive high standards for software maintainability, quality, resiliency, and performance.
