Software Engineer III, Infrastructure, Google Cloud

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
• Experience with cloud computing and Google Cloud Platform.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience contributing to product, engineering, or research teams in complex, cross-functional environments.
• Experience contributing to technology.
• Ability to quickly ramp up in new subject areas with short notice.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability of explaining technical topics.

• Contribute significantly to the goal for the Hybrid and On-prem Infrastructure business by assisting in defining and delivering architecture and roadmap initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product and Go-to-Market leaders to implement strategies for our migrate, modernize, and workload efforts.
• Support the team in maintaining and enhancing product, engineering, operational, and support excellence to ensure reliable and high-performance operations.
• Contribute to customer advocacy by understanding user needs and helping to deliver solutions that delight and empower users.
• Partner with internal cross-functional organizations and external vendors and partners.
