Senior Software Engineer, Hybrid and On-premises AI Infrastructure

Google's software engineers develop next-generation technologies impacting billions of users. The team is building an on-premises AI supercomputer, the next evolution of Google's AI accelerators hardware, targeting customers with sophisticated security and locality requirements. Google Cloud delivers enterprise-grade solutions to customers in over 200 countries and territories.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
• 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience contributing to product, engineering, or research teams in complex, cross-functional environments.
• Ability to explain technical topics.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Contribute significantly to the strategic goal for the Hybrid and On-premises Infrastructure business by assisting in defining and delivering architecture and roadmap initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product and Go-to-Market leaders to implement strategies for migrate, modernize, and workload efforts.
• Work with peer engineers and managers within Google teams and external partners to influence product and team direction.
• Partner with internal cross-functional organizations and external vendors and partners.
• Contribute to customer advocacy by understanding user needs and helping to deliver solutions that delight and empower users.
