Senior Product Manager

Remitly Poland sp. z o.o. is a company focused on providing secure, simple, and reliable global money transfer services. The Accounting Product team delivers systems to ensure accurate transaction recording, reconciliation, and reporting, supporting financial risk management and business scaling across remittance and emerging product lines.

• 5+ years of product management experience with meaningful exposure to Accounting, financial systems, or other domains requiring precision, controls, and data integrity.
• Experience partnering closely with Accounting and Finance teams to translate accounting requirements into scalable product capabilities.
• Proficiency in using data, metrics, and qualitative insights to guide decisions, measure outcomes, and improve product quality.
• Track record of defining product roadmaps, managing complex technical initiatives, and working closely with engineering teams to deliver reliable platforms.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, break down complex accounting or system problems, and drive clarity and alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Experience communicating complex technical concepts to various audiences, supporting decision making with senior leaders, and collaborating across business, technical, and compliance partners.
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of SDLC.

• Lead the definition and delivery of the new ledger platform ensuring accounting requirements, controls, and data quality are reflected in its architecture across all product lines.
• Translate product and system movements into accurate and complete ledger entries including revenue, losses, promotions, fees, and journal entry aggregation.
• Balance short term needs of the legacy subledger with the long term platform vision, reducing risk, resolving month end close blockers, and enabling new business line expansion.
• Define a multi-year strategy and roadmap with clear success metrics and communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to senior stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Improve responsiveness and delivery velocity of the Accounting tech portfolio by identifying automation opportunities and accelerating durable solutions for Accounting operations.
• Partner with Engineering on trade-offs between incremental delivery and foundational investments to ensure sustainable platform growth.
• Own Accounting's product backlog, develop clear requirements, and drive execution to ensure reliable, first time quality delivery at scale.

This is a hybrid position based in the Remitly Krakow office.
