Centrum Usług Informatycznych PG provides and maintains IT services for Gdańsk University of Technology. Their activities include designing ICT services and IT systems, implementing and maintaining services and systems, administering necessary hardware infrastructure, providing technical support, conducting necessary training, and publishing instructional materials.
Wymagania
- Higher education (preferably in computer science)
- Good knowledge of Java and Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Java Persistence API, Hibernate)
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Experience in designing and developing layered architecture web applications
- Practical skills in database modeling and design
- Experience working in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), including task estimation
- Knowledge of tools: Git, Docker, CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins), and task management systems (Jira)
- Ability to organize work independently and complete assigned tasks
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Communication skills in a technical team environment
- English language proficiency sufficient for working with technical documentation
Nice to have:
- Experience in leading or coordinating a technical area/module
- Interest in good software design practices (e.g., design patterns, DDD, clean code)
- Experience in system integrations (REST, message queues, API Gateway)
- Knowledge of frontend technologies (Angular 2+)

- Designing and developing web applications using Java (Spring Framework)
- Managing end-to-end tasks: technical analysis, implementation, deployment, and post-deployment support
- Participating in team work planning and task estimation
- Working in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) with active participation in team meetings (planning, daily, review, retrospective)
- Proposing and co-deciding on technical solutions and architectural directions
- Co-creating technical documentation and team work standards
- Ensuring code quality through code reviews, best practices, and knowledge sharing
