QA Test Engineer (Tosca)

ITFS Sp. z o.o. is hiring for a QA Test Engineer role focused on automation testing using Tricentis Tosca for web and desktop applications, with responsibilities including test design, execution, and maintenance, as well as collaboration with business analysts and developers.

• Minimum 6 years of overall experience in quality assurance (QA) and software testing (manual and automated)
• At least 3 years of practical experience in test automation using Tricentis Tosca for web and desktop applications, including designing, developing, and maintaining complex automated scripts with emphasis on reusability and DEX execution
• Understanding of business processes for product delivery in web and desktop applications
• Experience in API testing (e.g., Postman)
• Experience in database validation using SQL queries
• Knowledge of qTest for test management and Azure DevOps for bug tracking and task management
• Communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business teams
• Advanced English proficiency at minimum B2/C1 level
• Willingness to work from the office in Warsaw once a month

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of NeoLoad and experience in performance testing
• Practical knowledge of Playwright for web automation
• ISTQB certification, Tricentis Certified Automation Specialist (TAS), Tricentis Certified Test Design Specialist (TDS)

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and business teams
• Design, create, and execute comprehensive manual test cases including bug reporting
• Perform manual exploratory and functional testing for scenarios not yet automated
• Translate complex business requirements into effective test scenarios ready for automation
• Create, maintain, and update highly reusable automated scripts in Tosca for web and desktop applications, ensuring efficient test distribution (DEX)
• Test APIs using Postman, validating payloads and end-to-end flows
• Validate data in databases using SQL queries
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to test execution, Tosca environment, and system integration
• Assist in prioritizing bugs and collaborate with development teams for quick resolution
• Generate test reports and provide progress and quality metrics
• Contribute to continuous improvement of test automation processes

• Work location: remote with required visits to the office in Warsaw once every 1-2 months
