Senior Product Owner

For one of our international clients we are looking for a Senior Product Owner who has proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, managing and delivering successful API-driven or Business-to-Business-to-Customer (B2B2C) products across all stages of the product lifecycle. Experience in financial product is required.

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner, managing and delivering successful API-driven or Business-to-Business-to-Customer (B2B2C) products across all stages of the product lifecycle
• Strong focus on understanding and delivering value to build a best-in-class developer experience, and business users’ needs, with a keen awareness of the end customer experience
• Expertise in API product management, including API design, documentation, and backend integration, with a deep understanding of scalable and reusable microservices architectures
• Versatile skill set combining business acumen and technical knowledge, with a solid background in product discovery, user-centric design, and iterative development processes
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to measure, analyse, and act on metrics that drive product success and customer satisfaction
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, balancing customer requirements with business objectives and compliance needs

Nice to have:

• Specific experience in building orchestration / workflow type services and ideally some in customer onboarding / origination
• Experience working within a technology first SaaS / Financial services environment
• Experience within working with Lending based Products

• Defining and prioritising the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders and a cross functional squad, ensuring alignment with client, customer and business needs / objectives
• Translating the product roadmap into actionable deliverables by breaking down roadmap objectives into epics, detailed user stories, acceptance criteria
• Building on top of our core banking platform to orchestrate, translate, and apply business logic for seamless integration with client applications
• Delivering clear, and user-friendly APIs that power key lending onboarding and in life customer journeys
• Setting sprint objectives in partnership with Engineering Managers / Tech Leads, ensuring high-quality delivery that meets governance, risk, and compliance standards
• Driving an API-first approach, focusing on standards-compliant design and documentation to ensure developer satisfaction and ease of integration
