Functional Safety Consultant

• At least 8 years of total engineering experience including 5 years of experience in Automotive sector and 3 years of experience with Functional Safety or similar practices
• Demonstrated competency in Systems Engineering and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to apply the V-model development process
• Demonstrated understanding of vehicle system architectures
• Proficient understanding of ISO 26262 as a Functional Safety Engineer
• Experience with DFMEA, FTA, or similar

• Perform Confirmation Reviews of functional safety work products, like Product System, Safety Plan, Functional Safety Concept, Technical Safety Concept, Product System Safety Test Plan, Safety Case(s), etc.
• Conduct Review meetings with responsible development teams when required
• Manage backlog for sake of gatekeeping of all incoming review requests
• Perform consistently and promote safety culture within the organization
